Terms of Service

Thank you for choosing The Irish Organizer. By submitting a deposit, booking services, or otherwise engaging The Irish Organizer LLC to perform services, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the following Terms of Service;

Services & Payment

The Irish Organizer provides residential decluttering, organizing and downsizing services at the agreed hourly rate, with a 5-hour minimum per scheduled workday. Once a workday begins, the 5-hour minimum applies even if the Client chooses to end the day early.

Payment is due at the end of each work week unless otherwise agreed.

The Irish Organizer does not provide cleaning services. If disinfectant wipes are provided, we may lightly wipe surfaces in the immediate areas being organized.

Deposits & Booking

All deposits are non-refundable and are held until the Client's final work week, when they are applied to the balance due, provided there are no outstanding fees or charges.

At least one service date must be booked and confirmed within 30 days of submitting the deposit. The work itself may take place later. If no date is confirmed within 30 days, the project becomes inactive and the deposit remains non-refundable. Returning clients will be subject to current rates, availability and deposit requirements.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Scheduled dates may be changed with at least 5 business days' notice, subject to availability. Changes or cancellations with less than 5 business days' notice will be charged 50% of the 5-hour minimum. Less than 24 hours' notice, same-day cancellations, or failure to provide access will be charged 100% of the 5-hour minimum.

The Irish Organizer may reschedule when necessary due to illness, staffing, weather, project scheduling requirements or unforeseen circumstances. A replacement date will be offered based on availability.

Client Participation

Clients are not required to work alongside us throughout the project; however, they must be reasonably available when decisions or approvals are needed.

The Client is responsible for providing access and ensuring the space and any necessary project requirements are ready for scheduled work. Delays outside The Irish Organizer's control do not reduce the 5-hour minimum.

Donations

When The Irish Organizer transports donations, 30 minutes of billable time is added for each full carload removed. The Client is responsible for final decisions regarding items being removed, and once items leave the property, their retrieval cannot be guaranteed.

Safety & Valuables

Before work begins, Clients must remove or securely store cash, jewelry, important documents, medications, firearms, weapons, other valuables, and anything that may present a safety hazard.

The Irish Organizer does not handle firearms or weapons, use ladders or step stools, or move furniture, appliances or excessively heavy items. We are not responsible for the loss or misplacement of valuables that were not removed or secured as required.

We reserve the right to stop or decline work if conditions are unsafe or outside the scope of our services.

Photos & Video

The Irish Organizer may take before-and-after photos or videos for project documentation, website, social media and marketing purposes. Clients who do not want their space photographed or shared should notify us before services begin, and their request will be respected.

Agreement

These Terms are governed by New York State law. Payment of a deposit and booking services constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Service.

In the absence of a signature, receipt of the required deposit shall constitute full acceptance of the terms and conditions of this Agreement. By submitting the deposit, the Client affirms that they have received, read, and agreed to the terms set forth herein.
