Terms of Service

Thank you for choosing The Irish Organizer as a partner to help you get organized. By scheduling services with The Irish Organizer, you are agreeing to the following terms;

Rates & Services: Estate Management services are priced on a per-project basis. For all other services, an hourly rate is agreed at time of booking and valid for two (2) months from date of proposal. A retainer/deposit is required to secure all bookings and is non-refundable. The Irish Organizer accepts cash, check or Zelle (bank transfer).  Payment is due in full at the completion of each work week. For organizing services, a work day averages 6 to 7 hours, with a minimum charge of 5 hours per scheduled work day. In our experience, organizing sessions of shorter duration do not produce optimal results.

Cancellations: Cancellations within four (4) days of a scheduled appointment, will result in the forfeiture of the deposit. This policy is in place to compensate for the time reserved for your appointment and cannot be refunded, even if the appointment is canceled or rescheduled.

Project Performance/Conditions: To successfully declutter and transform a space, not everything can be kept. The Irish Organizer believes that a functional, peaceful home often requires letting go of items that no longer serve a purpose.

While client input is always valued, it is no longer feasible for clients to make individual decisions on every item. Instead, The Irish Organizer will work with clients to establish general categories and decision-making guidelines at the beginning of the project. Once these are in place, professional judgment will be used to make timely decisions — particularly in cases where the client is unavailable or has delegated authority. Clients may opt to be involved in sensitive areas (e.g., closets, personal keepsakes), but full involvement in all categories may reduce project efficiency and effectiveness. While we do our best to work expediently, we absolutely take into consideration the Client’s emotional, physical, and mental needs.

All items removed from the home — whether donated, recycled, or discarded — are processed the same day. Once an item has left the premises, it cannot be retrieved or returned under any circumstances.

By signing this agreement, the client acknowledges and accepts that The Irish Organizer may make decisions on their behalf within the scope of agreed-upon categories. This trust-based process enables smoother workflows and better results, delivering a more functional, peaceful home. The Irish Organizer reserves the right to cancel/postpone work if working conditions are deemed unacceptable.

Privacy Policy, Photo/Video Content Release: The Client releases all rights to project related photos and videos, to be used by The Irish Organizer; including but not limited to website, social media, educational presentations, and marketing material. Photos and videos also serve as an internal record of work performed. Client’s identifiable information will never be disclosed.

Customer Satisfaction Policy: We strive to meet a 100% client satisfaction level. It is our responsibility to analyze your situation, suggest appropriate new methods, suggest best space optimization and organizational systems and help you make the changes necessary to declutter and organize your space. If we fail to meet any realistic expectations, we need to be notified same day.

Limitation of Liability: Client agrees that The Irish Organizer staff shall not be responsible for any damages (whether compensatory, direct, indirect, actual, special, punitive, incidental, consequential or otherwise), any losses (whether loss of or damage to property, or loss of any kind), personal injury, claims of third parties, or other claim or liability of any kind, including those resulting from discarding or destroying of any items (physical, digital, or otherwise).

Safety: The Irish Organizer reserves the right to cancel/postpone work if working conditions are deemed unacceptable. The Client is responsible for removing all items of value from work space in advance of work being performed.  

Firearms and weapons: Please ensure these items are removed from any area where we will be working and securely stored in a safe location.

Pets:  For the safety of your pet(s) and our organizers, we may ask that you secure your pets away from the area(s) to be organized.

Children: Though we certainly love having kids around, please be aware that it might not be safest to have them around the worksite and could distract and/or delay the project. 

Other Service Providers: We are not responsible for recommended subcontractors.

Duration of Agreement: This Agreement shall commence upon the date a deposit is received, shall apply to all services provided by The Irish Organizer at the Service Location, and shall continue in effect until it is terminated as provided herein. Unless otherwise stated, all parties agree that time is not of the essence to complete any agreed-upon work. 

Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New York and Massachusetts and is not transferable to any other party or service location. The Client agrees to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in New York and states within New England.

Acknowledgment & Acceptance:
The Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.

In the absence of a signature, receipt of the required deposit shall constitute full acceptance of the terms and conditions of this Agreement. By submitting the deposit, the Client affirms that they have received, read, and agreed to the terms set forth herein.
